Zen Nutrients NeuraZenX Nerve Support Review
Produced by Zen Nutrients, NeuraZenX Nerve Support is our next product up for review. One of the things we liked about this brand is that it provides the clinical studies that back its formulas and explains the importance of each ingredient. Additionally, Zen Nutrients has some impressive “extracurriculars” as supporters of the Wounded Warrior Project, BAPScharities, and vitamin angels. This specific product provides the main recommended trio of B Vitamins, Magnesium, and ALA, and so this formula caught our eye. But why did we only rank this product third? Keep reading to find out.
Is Zen Nutrients NeuraZenX Nerve Support Effective?
This product checks a few important boxes: it is formulated with most of the recommended ingredients for a sciatica supplement, third-party tested, and manufactured in a GMP certified facility in the USA. However, to answer the essential question about whether the formula is actually effective, we now turn to the ingredients themselves.
Zen Nutrients NeuraZenX Nerve Support contains the main 5 B vitamins recommended for alleviating symptoms of neuropathy, including sciatica. However, not all of these vitamins were provided in their optimal forms. For example, instead of including P-5-P, Vitamin B6 is provided as Pyridoxal HCl. This product also provides Magnesium as Magnesium Oxide without any Glycinate which is better absorbed, but this is still an important ingredient for mitigating neuropathic pain. Next, the product offers 600mg of ALA which is neither too much, nor too little. However, if the ALA was mixed with R-ALA, it would be more effective.
While this product doesn’t contain Corydalis or Boswellia, it does contain Turmeric for helping to reduce pain, numbness, and tingling. The other ingredients do not specifically relate to sciatica as this was simply designed as a nerve support formula, but we’ll briefly mention them here. It utilizes Passionflower to help increase GABA levels which can help to relieve pain, ALC to promote nerve-healing, Moringa for its neuroprotective properties, Vitamin D for preventing neurodegeneration, Feverfew for blocking muscle spasms, Oat Straw for providing nutrients to the nervous system, L-Arginine for supporting blood flow, Inositol for supporting nerve function, Vitamin E for supporting nerve growth, Chinese Skullcap for promoting blood flow and reducing pain, and Vitamin C for its antioxidant properties.
Overall, Zen Nutrients NeuraZenX Nerve Support has a pretty comprehensible formula, but it’s the customer reviews that can tell us how well this product really works. Overall, the reviews we found were positive, though some only commented on the potential of the formula, instead of their actual experience. Though it seems like it will be effective, customers are protected with either a 30 or 60-day money back guarantee. (The NeuraZenX site was inconsistent about the refund policy.)
Is Zen Nutrients NeuraZenX Nerve Support Safe?
There are no mentioned side effects of taking this product and it is third-party tested and made in a certified lab. Nevertheless, when incorporating any new supplement or diet into your daily routine, we always advise talking to your healthcare professional about possible contraindications of any pre-existing medical conditions or medications that you are taking. Supplements work differently for everyone and the effects vary between individuals, so it is always a good idea to run any health changes with a professional.
Summary
Zen Nutrients NeuraZenX Nerve Support provides an extensive list of ingredients, many of which were on our list of must haves. However, the formula could have been better if more thought had been given to bioavailability and absorption. For example, combining the ALA with R-ALA could have increased the absorption of ALA for improved effects on nerve-healing. We would have liked to see the inclusion of black pepper extract or BioPerine® to improve overall nutrient absorption. We think this product rightly deserves the third spot on our list of top products based on the potential of its formula and its positive testimonials.
